Hiyaa,

I have the latest build of EE2.1 and FileCracker 1.0.0, and I’m having trouble with holding on to my files.

The file gets uploaded to the defined folder - However, it get’s saved as { filedir_3 }NULL in the db.

Maybe it’s unrelated, but when saving, the console flashes ‘Cannot read propert of ‘0’ : undefined’.

(And it’s not inside a Matrix.)

(And it’s funny that the forum parses the filedir_3 tag.)

Can you show me your template code? I want to see the markup/template code you used to create the file field.

Ah, but I only use it in the CP, to replace the File field.

Interesting…are you getting any Javascript errors in your console?

Yeah, Uncaught TypeError: Cannot ready propert of ‘0’: Undefined or something. It flashes by too fast to read properly. Funnily enough, I just added a testfield, and it worked on first try.

Hmm.

So it’s definitely a JS bug, not sure if it’s within the SC File field’s JS or a conflict with something else. Does that error pop up when you hit submit or something?

Yeah, only on submit. In this specific case the only non-standard fieldtype is SafeCracker File, if that helps.
