Problems with Safecracker image upload

Hello,
I have a new build (purchased today) of SC and EE2.1.3
Ideally, I would like to have this work and display a thumbnail if the upload is successful. Right now, the image will not load.
The custom field for the image is image. The rest of the form works fine.

Is it possible to get the file name of a file that was uploaded using Safecracker File?

when adding safecracker_file form is blank

I’m new to this.

I’m using Safecracker 2.0.0
EE Version 2.1.3 Build 20101220
I have made a customfield for fileupload safecracker_file, I call it image
I’ve set the upload path.

I found this code to put in the form inside the custom_field tags.

If I do so, my form stays blank, only title remains.
I do not understand, what do I wrong?

Possible conflict with MX Cloner

Hi,

I’m using MX Cloner to allow our clients to duplicate entries across two channels. The channels use the same Field Groups/Settings and it has been working fine, until the I started using SafeCracker File to manage the images within a Matrix group. Now when I duplicate an entry and try and post it to the other channel I get a bunch of errors like this:

A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Notice
Message: Undefined index: row_name
Filename: safecracker_file/ft.safecracker_file.php
Line Number: 667 

There’s a bunch of these errors occurring and they prevent the post from saving whilst also removing all the images from the image fields. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbnails not being shown in the CP

Hi,

I’m using v1.0.3 on EE 2.1.4 beta. tested in Chrome 9.0.597.102 and Firefox 3.6.13

In the CP I’m seeing a generic image (mydevsite/themes/cp_global_images/default.png) rather than the thumbnail of the image.

The image already existed in the file system and was selected using the existing file option.

I have relative paths set for the File Upload Directory of;

* Server Path to Upload Directory ../images/uploads/
&
* URL of Upload Directory /images/uploads/

The selected image(s) are being output properly on the front end of the site, and the fiel manager displays them correctly too.

Matrix and Choose existing file

I’m having an issue with SC File in the control panel. I have a channel with a matrix field with an SC File cell and two text cells.

When I publish or edit an entry in this channel, I am creating more than two rows in the matrix, and choosing an existing file for all of them. After I save, only the file in the first row is saved. If I choose the second row again, it will save that row correctly. If I choose the second and third at the same time, only the second is saved.

It looks like it is only saving one field at a time instead of all of them. Let me know if you need anything else from me.

Safecracker file upload status

Does anyone know of a way to show upload status in a SC form? My client’s going to be uploading some pretty big files so it would be a tool to have.

If no one’s already done this, woud you have any idea how hard it would be to implement myself? Could I use one of many php scripts available on the internet?

Fatal Error: undefined method Filemanager::Filemanager()

I have just uploaded EE to a server after building a site locally but i get an error when I try to add entries.

Here is the error i get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Filemanager::Filemanager() in /home/brittneybean/http/www.greenhousegroup.co.uk/demo/portfolio/system/expressionengine/third_party/safecracker_file/libraries/SC_Filemanager.php on line 18 

Any idea idea what could be causing it? Not sure if it’s relevant but the EE version on the server is 2.1.3 and the one on my local system is 2.1.1

Alos, I can upload to the same directory with file manager in the control panel.

Safecracker File Version 1.0.1 causes blank pages when creating new custom field

The error is the same as the one on the tin. I also tried updating to version 1.0.2 from my downloads section, but it looks like it’s still version 1.0.1 when I examine the fieldtype file.

Any clues as to what could be causing this? I’ve verified the files are the same as the files I’ve downloaded. Attaching an image of the files and their current parity too.

PHP error

Hi, I just installed SafeCracker File, added it to Matrix and tried to add an image, but get a PHP error.
Any idea what’s going wrong (see attached images)?
