I’d like to use SafeCracker with the DM EECK Ck Editor and CK Finder fields.

However as it’s a free addon, I’m not anticipating that they will be willing to do the work to make make it compatible (although I have submitted a request). They told me they aren’t planning to make it work with the default EE SAEF, but would consider doing it for the new SAEF that ElisLab is planning.

Your development documentation isn’t enough to help me work out how to do the conversion myself. I’m not familiar with the EE API. Can you provide some further information please to get me going.

Thanks

Hey guys—

We try to support as many fieldtypes as possible. I dont have time right now to look into this particular fieldtype. But I welcome you to post here what’s not working with it, and maybe the community can help find an answer for you.

Wouldn’t hold your breath for this any time soon.

The DM EECK developers said the following about this:

“I tend to code simple modules to just produce the entry adding functionality I need. This is why I did not develop SAEF compatibility into EECK.
Iâ??m not familiar with Safecracker Iâ??m afraid so couldnâ??t comment on that.
I notice the Ellis Lab are looking to re-develop the way SAEF works in a future release, so perhaps Iâ??ll review the situation after that.”

Has anyone actually tried it with SafeCracker? I’m curious to know the results.
