Just wanted to let you know that this is still on my list. My senior developer Rob Sanchez is out on paternity leave, so I’ve been getting behind on forum responses. I’ll look into this today.

Hi amra, I had to remove MX Google Maps from the list of fieldtypes that are known to work. It was erroneously placed on that list. (I can’t get it to work, either). We will have to get in touch with the developer of MX Google Maps to get him to make it compatible. Perhaps you could start a thread on his site and see what he thinks?

thanks for you info sambo I did what you recommended added include_jquery=“no” but it doesn’t work it does the same think I can see the map and edit the location but after the submit it resets the map to the original location. again and again through expressionengine control panel it works fine.

One of the reviewers mentions here that it now works with SafeCracker

Hey Chris, indeed it does!

For anyone else that has problems this was the key for me:

Seems to be a bit of hack fix though?

Sure, I realise that. I was just pointing it out smile

Max says that he’s actually working on a new version of MX Google Maps with a heap of improvements and should be released “next week”.
