Do you have a logged out member ID set up in either the settings or as a form parameter?

the formtag looks like this

{exp:safecracker channel="uster" preserve_checkboxes="no" return="stats/edit/ENTRY_ID" entry_id="{segment_3}"
...
{/exp:safecracker}

i dont want to allow logged-out users to see or edit the form.

i had

{if member_group == '1' OR member_group == '6'... {/if}

around the form and even if i take it away it doesn’t change anything.

in the sourcecode i find this

//
$(document).ready(function() {

if (typeof SafeCracker == "undefined" || ! SafeCrackervar SafeCracker {markItUpFields:{}};}

$.datepicker.setDefaults({dateFormat:$.datepicker.W3C+EE.date_obj_time});
    $.
datepicker.setDefaults({defaultDate: new Date(1290436179000)});});
//

[removed]$.createDatepickerTime=function(){a=new Date();b=a.getHours();c=a.getMinutes();if(c<10){c="0"+c;}if(b>12){b-=12;d=" PM";}else{d=" AM";}EE.date_obj_time=" '"+b+":"+c+d+"'";};$.createDatepickerTime();[removed]

The problem is probably that you do not have proper permissions set up for member group 6. You have to give them channel posting privileges and priviliges for that specific channel.
