One of the disadvantages of the original SAEF is that the form has no form name. This makes it difficult to use javascript.

Hi I am trying to create a product list site furnitures where every registered member can add and edit his products only I want also to make able to edit his profile (maybe using solspace user)

1.) how is safecracker working I will create a new channel admin and use this for the edit and to add pages calling all the fields that exist already in other channels as if I was where working through ee control panel?

2.) what about playa and matrix are they fully compatible?

3.) I want to add for the user profile page something like this region - city if he choses region {categories} (A) from a list then it displayed another list cities with option A1 A2 A3 with some {if} statements. Can I do this with safecracker a drop down list with categories and then using if statements display the according cities.

4.) my last question the user can’t delete an entry only change status to closed and then manually I will have to delete them through ee CP ?

Hi there. I’m currently working on requirements for a new project with EE2. SafeCracker looks to be good fit for what I need but can I use it in conjunction with DevDemon’s Channel Images for the selection of multiple images? Or can I have multiple image upload (I need up to 5) with SafeCracker as it is? Cheers!

Hi Rob,
I’ve seen several posts here regarding compatibility between Safecracker and some Solspace products. I haven’t seen, though, if SC would be compatible with User, or if it’s just redundant. I need the secure member area since most of my site will be behind the wall, but the custom forms and JSON output are tantalizing.
Thanks!

HI Guys

Just a quick simple question. I was getting my had around the standard SAEF in EE lately but failed establishing an edit form.

Do you have any examples of how to build an edit form with safe cracker?

BTW is the 1.6.5+ version still available as announced on devot-ee?

Cheers

Hi,

I was curious if and how Safecracker worked with MSM. If it is compatible, can SAEFs target channels from any site, no matter which site is being viewed?

For example, site A has a channel called “widgets”. Can I create an SAEF on site B that targets this same “widgets” weblog from site A?

Thanks.
